In each class a different aspect of meditation and Buddhism is explained. The classes are self-contained so you can drop in any week. There is no need to book or bring anything. Classes begin with a simple guided breathing meditation followed by a teaching and a second guided meditation based on the topic. There is also an opportunity for discussion, followed by refreshments. Class fee $14.

No meditation experience is necessary, the classes are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators, and everyone is welcome.

THE FOUNDATIONS OF MEDITATION
If we train in meditation our mind will gradually become more and more peaceful and we shall experience purer and purer forms of happiness. Eventually we shall able to stay happy all the time, even in the most difficult circumstances. Be guided through simple mediations that can be reproduced at home, learn how to improve mindfulness and concentration; as well as how to set up a regular meditation practice. These classes are suitable for everyone.
 
TRANSFORMING LIFE'S DIFFICULTIES
Although we all experience difficulties in our lives, these do not need to cause us unhappiness. According to Buddhism, it is possible to enjoy peace of mind in any situation by developing positive and constructive ways of thinking. Learn how we bring about this transformation in our mind, enabling us to remain calm and happy even in the most difficult of circumstances.
 
PEACEFUL MIND IN A STRESSFUL WORLD
Let go of stress, anger and painful feelings through meditation. Learn how to respond to difficulties in a positive, untroubled way, and find peace.
 
MAKING LIFE SIMPLE
This class will explore how we can learn to simplify our life by creating a shift in attitude that will enable us to face the demands of our life with new found clarity and confidence.
