INTRODUCTION TO BUDDHISM | 6 MAY

Sunday 6 May · 9:30 am - 1:00 pm · Fullarton Park Commnuity Centre

2,500 years after the passing of Buddha, his message continues to resonate. Although Buddhism is an ancient religion that first appeared in the East, the practices taught by Buddha are timeless and universally applicable.

These days, many people are discovering that Buddhism has answers to questions and solutions to problems that cannot be found anywhere else. On this half day-course, we will learn the essential principles of the Buddhist way of life and how to apply this extraordinary ancient wisdom to our everyday lives and problems, in the modern world. No previous experience necessary. Everyone welcome.

The teacher of this course is Gen Kelsang Rabten. Gen Rabten is the National Spiritual Director for Kadampa Buddhism in Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia.
